Kamikazee, with their signature onstage antics and witty songs, has established itself to be one of the hottest rock bands of this generation, yielding numerous hits like “Narda,” “Tsinelas,” “Chicksilog,” “First Day High,” among others. For their fourth album “Romantico,” the rock band goes extremely personal with songs that re-tell their love experiences.

“What makes this album special is that all the songs here are expression of our experiences and the stories of people around us,” says drummer Allan “Bords” Burdeos. “It is an album very close to us as these songs represent parts of who we are now.”

Letter Day Story – Salamat

PINOY ROCK ANTHEM “Salamat”, one of the most unforgettable hits of legendary OPM band The Dawn, gets a charged-up tribute with its latest revival by the up-and-coming rock idols of Letter Day Story, which also features Pinoy rock icon Pepe Smith. The official music video is now on YouTube.

Letter Day Story members were naturally excited over the prospect of working with Smith for the recording of “Salamat”. All of them, Dex Yu (guitars and lead vocals), NotNot Vinzons (guitars), Oli Agustin (bass and vocals) and Ej Arabit (drums), said they felt honored and thrilled.

Manila International Auto Show 2012

The 17^th World Building and Construction Exposition (WORLDBEX) once again proved to be a success. Over 152,000 visitors flocked to the World Trade Center Metro Manila and experienced 30,000 sq. m. of booths and exhibits from local and international industry players.

“WORLDBEX leads the future of the construction industry in the Philippines by providing an avenue where local suppliers can showcase their products globally and likewise giving Filipinos an opportunity to see what the international market has to offer,” says Joseph Ang, founding chair of Worldbex Services International (WSI).

WSI, however, is just getting started. From one world-class expo to another, car enthusiasts will once again race to the World Trade Center from March 29 to April 1, 2012, 10am to 10pm, for the highly anticipated 8^th Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). With the theme “Motorsports”, MIAS 2012 turns the spotlight on “Life in the Fast Lane” and the current trend of developing new and updated models of sports cars by different car brands, all designed to outride the competition.

The iButterfly, an Augmented Reality Application based technology, that will be first introduced by SM Supermalls in the Philippines will be officially launched on April 8, 2012 across all Cyberzone branches. It will be the start of SM Cyberzone’s exciting summer campaign.

To give you an overview, the iButterfly is a fun and entertaining mobile information and couponing platform that tasks its users with catching augmented reality butterflies , each representing one or more coupons. Electrolux Design Lab’s 10^th Anniversary challenge to international design students is tied to Electrolux professional heritage in a theme that stimulates all senses.

Electrolux Design Lab is a global annual design competition inviting students and recent graduates of industrial design to compete for a six-month paid internship and prize money by submitting ideas that develop the sensory experience of home appliances. This year the jury will also take special note of the aesthetic qualities of the concept and the way textures and surface materials have been used.
