General Purpose Bar Scanners or ls2208 are usually found in groceries and supermarkets. It scans bar codes and interprets and transmits it to the computer. Before ls2208 all transactions are done manually. Cashiers manually enters the codes in to the computer, some does not even a computer to use, only a calculator. Imagine how long the line will be during mall wide sales.
