What next for a barcode scanner? Imagine grocery stores and department stores without barcode scanners? Cashiers will have to input and compute everything manually. Imaging how long the lines buyers lining up to get to the cashier. Barcodes scanners have been a very useful invention. But what’s next? It seems technology has nothing to replace it with yet. Is there even an attempt to replace it or they won’t need any replacement at all.
