More and more companies are engaging into Search Engine and Social Media Market thanks to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Multiply and other Social Networking Sites.  Then there's Google, Bing and Yahoo!.  It just shows that more people consume information from social networking sites compared to traditional media.  Give it a few more years and traditional media will soon be second choice.  People will rather get updates on a product or service on it's Facebook Fan Page or blog.  Consumers will just go online and search for a product than look at a catalog.

I've had it with Telenovelas!  Where are the sitcoms?  I want to see Tagalog sitcoms back in to Philippine television.  I can no longer take 4-5 hrs of telenovelas a day.  There's already a lot of drama out there, why make more?  To give you of an idea of what we GMA and ABS-CBN  what I'm ranting about, here is their program guide:

Gone are the days when you can sit relax and get entertained by sitcoms after a long and tiring day at work.   I miss how they make fun of current social issues and get away with.  I miss how it teaches kids moral lessons  and still be funny. How I miss sitcoms like:

Sitcoms slowly faded.  They tried to keep it.  I tried to watch it even it was late at night, the only time slot they have allotted  for a sitcom.  It was one sitcom a week shown late at night and eventually removed.  I'll leave you guys with the lyrics from the Soap O Pera by Itchyworms.

Erin’s (Drew Barrymore) wry wit and unfiltered frankness charm newly single Garrett (Justin Long) over beer, bar trivia and breakfast the next morning.  Their chemistry sparks a full-fledged summer fling, but neither expects it to last once Erin heads home to San Francisco and Garrett stays behind for his ob in New York City.  But when six weeks of romping through the city inadvertently become meaningful, neither is sure they want it to end.  And while Garrett’s friends Box (Jason Sudeikis) and Dan (Charlie Day), joke about his pre-flight calorie-cutting and hi full-time relationship with his cell phone, they don’t like losing their best drinking buddy to yet another rocky romance.  At the same time Erin’s high-strung, overprotective married sister, Corrine (Christina Applegate), wants to keep Erin from heading down an all-too-familiar road.  But despite the opposite coasts, the nay-saying friends and family, and a few unexpected temptations, the couple just might have found something like love, and with the help of a lot of texting, sexting and late-night phone calls, they might actually go the distance.

My Review

We all had a great time at the 3rd Entrep Summit - Click! Technopreneurs Secrets Revealed.
