On it’s 18th year of producing the country’s best films. Star Cinema offers another romantic love story, “Forever And A Day“. Starring Sam Milby and KC Concepcion, directed by the maker of box office movies, none other than, Cathy Garcia Molina.
The story is about a man who pushes himself to the limits, a man who is always up for the challenge. Director Cathy Molina Garcia saw the same personality in Sam Milby, a very competitive person. He meets a woman who is more cautious in life, a woman who teaches him to embrace and appreciate life, love and all its smallest blessings.
“”Kaya mo bang mahalin ang isang taong alam mong mawawala rin sa’yo?” That line is a mystery to us. My wife and I were already guessing the storyline as soon as the we saw the trailer. It’s pretty obvious that one of them would die in the film, but knowing Star Cinema, that probability is more likely not gonna happen. Star Cinema has always been providing great film and unique and unpredictable stories. My guess is that KC will either go abroad or pursue a spiritual life and become a nun. Don’t take my word for it, I’m just guessing.
Direk Cathy mentioned that the challenge having two celebrities we know have their own love life appear to be in love with each other, and will the public accept it. She asked the actors to just get in to the character and they did a very good job. Direk also metioned that his is not a “kilig” movie. It’s teaches you how to love, to hope and to give. She is hoping that after leaving the cinema, people will appreciate life even more.

Having had worked with Sam Milby before, direk Cathy was surprised that Sam still has a lot show and to share as a talented movie actor. KC, on the other hand, gave more than what she has given in her past movies. Expect a different KC in this movie.
Also in the movie is Robin Da Roza who is now a full time interior designer and is very much happy to be given a chance to do another movie because he already misses acting. Matet De Leon is also part of the film. I’ve seen her in previous Cathy Garcia Molina film.
Star Cinema’s 18th Anniversary offering, a most-relatable love story, shot in the country’s best locales, a new Sam, a new KC, another romantic movie masterpiece told by Direk Cathy. Could anyone ask for more?
