The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) hails the integration of WebTalk, the first complete and fully functional communication services via the web in the chamber’s website as having “streamlined the communications and increased the visibility of its members worldwide.”
At the chamber’s annual general membership meeting held recently in Makati, newly elected Vice President and General Manager Michel Miloda discussed the impact WebTalk has done for ECCP. “WebTalk has eased communications and transactions for our members since its integrations earlier this year. With its toll-free calls, ECCP members can contact their clients from anywhere in the globe while their profiles can be customized using their preferred tags that has increased their visibility via the web. So far, it has been successful and we encourage other members to use this.

BPI Family Savings Bank (BFSB) recently awarded INDIGOBaby for their entrepreneurship excellence during the Go Negosyo Youth Summit held at the World Trade Center, Pasay City. Manuel “Manny” Pangilinan, President of Smart Communications; Gilberto “Gibo” Teodoro, Former Defense Secretary; and Atty. Paquito Ochoa Jr., Deputy Executive Secretary joined the event led by Joey Concepcion, Presidential Consultant for Entrepreneurship and the Founding Trustee of the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship, the organization that founded the advocacy, Go Negosyo.
The event brought almost 400 booths and an estimated 18,000 attendees and has become an avenue to showcase business opportunities for the youth especially to budding entrepreneurs. “Filipinos are not destined to be poor. We are destined to be wealthy and it will happen when we want it to happen, shares Concepcion in his welcome speech.

We started becoming environmentally conscious when our son started going to school because the school we enrolled him in to taught the students to be earth friendly( you can it out here). We were converted in to going green. We’re now conscious on disposing our trash properly and also minimizing the consumption of things to minimize trash, especially plastics.
We bring our own shopping bags when going to the grocery, we bring plastic containers, and grocery bags when going to the wet market so that wet products like fish, pork and the likes goes directly to the container preventing the use of plastic. I’m so glad that the City of Pasig has directives discouraging the use of plastic bags wherein established are obliged to provide paper bags instead of plastics.
We have to do our share and reduce re-use and recycle. This is what sets Treehugger Pens apart from all other brands. They follow the 3 R’s and added another R for reforestation. Hotdogs is one item that will always be a part of our grocery list. We have it for breakfast and for our son’s baon, sometimes even mine because it’s easy to prepare. But most of the time you get tired of it because it doesn’t have the great taste we’re looking for.
We were on the look out for a replacement for our regular hotdog and stumbled upon Robina Farm’s Big Boy hotdogs. Robina Farm is part of Universal Robina Corporation that brought us Jack n’ Jill goodies and many other delicious snacks. I was hesitant to get one because I was thinking all hotdogs tastes the same, because they all look the same.

Teen girls and their barkadas had the time of their lives at the biggest teen event of the year, the 2011 Candy Fair! Held last September 24 at the Megatent Events Venue, the Candy Fair featured games, fun booth activities, and Candy Cuties—the recipe for a fun-filled afternoon.
Candy girls enjoyed strolling along the park-themed venue, with every nook and cranny a perfect picture-taking spot. The Candy Cuties manned the jail and marriage booths, and bonded with the Candy girls to make the exciting games even more memorable.
Sam Concepcion and Elmo Magalona, this year’s cover boys of the Candy Cuties mini-mag, led the celebrity performances with their own song and dance numbers.
