Chinese New Year is celebrated all around the world. Here in the Philippines, it’s the time of the year when a lot of astrologers and feng shui experts gets to be given the microphone and share their predictions for the new year on TV.  A lot of Filipinos waits for the announcements on how to be invite luck in their lives and get tips on how to avoid bad luck.  I myself, bought a newspaper that has an article about Chinese Calendar.  Born on the year of the Metal Rooster, it seems that it won’t be an easy year for us.  I also wen t online to see if the predictions are consistent and here is what I got from them.

“Do not ask from a beloved person beyond his natural abilities, and you and your partner are ordinary people who have the right to make mistakes. In other words, in 2011 take people close to you as they are with their human weaknesses and needs. If you will stubbornly stick to your guns then you will have major conflicts.”

“The 2011 Year of the Rabbit will be a valuable year for the Metal Rooster who are born in 1921 or 1981. The Metal Rooster will have modest progress in 2011 but this period will be a good time to build your base for a better future. The plans they set in motion can prove to be significant in the longer term. Their career may not see much development in the rabbit year but it will be a good time to widen their skills. The Metal Rooster may find a new job in April, May, October and November. The wealth star does not favor the Metal Rooster as they may spend more than they actually earned if they do not know how to budget.”

The second prediction told me that I may find a new job,  coincidentally, I just submitted applications to other companies whose line of business is very far from what I am currently doing because I wanted to get  new career.  I hope that I may not just find a job but land on a good one as well.  Happy New Year!
