Asbestos exposure can cause cancer and Mesothelioma is the most common form of cancer caused by asbestos. There are a lot of Asbestos related cancer or asbestos cancer such as lung cancer, gastrointestinal cancer and colorectal cancer or colon cancer. Good thing asbestos are now banned form most countries.
In the Philippines a proposed law banning the importation, manufacture, processing or distribution in commerce of asbestos-containing products has been pending with the Senate Committee on Trade and Commerce since 29 August 2007. I hope it gets passed and becomes a law.
