Video blogging has captured my interest and I’m thinking of making my own. I dream of it becoming as popular as wheninmanila, project52weeks, or even happyslip. My main concern is how do I want my video blog to be.
Should I make clips like Christine does on happyslip? I can’t sing as good as her. I maybe able to act but it would probably take a million takes before it turns out to be acceptable. I can play the guitar and will try to learn the piano. But I don’t think it’ll be good enough. Why don’t I just make short film-like clips or short documentaries and bring out the journalist in me. Deliver news or make up one.
Capturing videos will never be a problem these days. I can use a cellphone to make my videos. A camcorder, or video camera (camcorders are so 90′s) that is HD capable with a huge hard drive and very handy, not to mention expensive.
