After the success of RakEnRol with Yeng Constantino last year, she is back with a pre-valentine musical presentation Ok Lang Maging Single sa Valentines.
The title of the show is a phrase born out of Yeng’s own idea. “It was August of last year around the time of my solo concert at the Aliw Theater, when I thought of the title and immediately, the concept of a show came to me,” Yeng said. ”I thought ‘wouldn’t it be nice to come up with a show with singles in mind instead of the usual Valentines show for couples?” she added
Truly one on the best singer/songwriter of new generation, not to mention prettiest too. No wonder why a lot admires her including Juan Manila and me, of course. When asked about her love life. “I love everybody,” she answered.
There are a lot of things to be excited about the show. During the conversation, here were hints of singing a new original song and a video, probably another album. There may also be other surprise guests. The songs that she’ll be singing got me guessing when she reveals that, “all songs that I’m singing will be a case to prove why it’s goog to be single.“
Yeng Constantino will have the whole night of February 3 to convince everybody at the Music Museum why it’s not bad to be single on Valentines day. That and a couple of surprise guests Jovit Baldivino and Paolo Valenciano and Yeng’s speacial treat for everyone that comes in the form of new original songs that she will be debuting on the upcoming show.
“Ok Lang Maging Single Sa Valentines” opens on a Friday on February 3 and show starts at 8 pm at The Music Museum and brought to us by Cornerstone Concerts, RRJ and Qualibet, the show is directed by Dido Camara, the brains behind “ASAP Sessionistas” fame under the music direction of guitarist and genius producer Jack Rufo. When she said she will be singing songs for single, unattached and alone this Valentine season, it made me think what songs are there for the dateless this Feb 14? I’m on my second day of digging my brain out and I still can’t think of any. I don’t want to use google search, I just want to decipher it myself and it’s driving me crazy. can you think of any songs that she may sing.
